I tried posting the YouTube videos on some funny and cute cat videos into my blog but it always somehow distorts my layout of my blog by pushing all my content to the bottom. Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this? I’m really puzzled and frustrated by this and cause me not to be able to share more videos to you unless it’s a URL link.

That is such a waste because there are still many other videos that I want to share with you about cat care tips.

Please offer me your advice on this. Thanks

It’s been a long time since I try writing on this blog. Yes, I have been busy. Well, who doesn’t… but actually, anyone can just find the time out for something even if they are really busy. So here I am again writing on this blog.

Okay everyone, I know taking care of your cats have always been an enjoyable experience and process. But sometimes, they just annoy us when they started misbehaving and you will need to teach them some discipline. But disciplining them may not be a good idea though because they will just go back to their old ways after all the lecturing you gave.

Rather, you should instead reward them for doing something good so that your cats will keeping doing that particular task in order to get your rewards. Therefore, cats have their own way of training system that you need to follow.

Well, that’s about it. Recently I went back to YouTube and search for some cat videos thinking that I can probably get some training videos for you guys. But it just ended up with “Funny Cat Videos” so curious as usual, I clicked on those links and there it goes, I was laughing by the second when I viewed them.

So I just thought since cats accompanied us to provide joy to our lives, I might as well provide you more joy by assisting you to recall back those moments where your cat really bring joy to you and your family by viewing some really funny cat videos.

I was searching online for more cat related blogs to connect to till I was kind of tired. So I happened to think of watching some cat videos then. So in the end, I searched for some funny cat videos which is like the America’s Funniest Videos.

Then I started laughing as I watched more and more of these videos. Finally I found a great one which I really find quite funny about cats though I love cats.

It’s this cat which managed to squeeze itself into a vase. That’s so amazing.

Yesterday, when I went shopping with my girlfriend and her family we went into this japanese shop. The shop is so amazing because everything that it sells over there only costs $2 and I mean Everything. There are many different types of things being sold there,  ranging from pottery, plants, food stuff, stationery till the last one of all, pet supplies.

When I was browsing the pet supplies, I saw a lot of different things for our beloved pets including cats and dogs training tools.  But what is the one thing that caught my eye is that there is a cat punch ball. It is so cute. I really find that it will be a great addition to any cat toys that you have right now.

It is actually a small ball with a kind of short furry coat on it and it is attached to a standing spring with a small base on it. So in short the closest thing that I can say about the cat punch ball is that it is actually similar to those punching ball that is hanged from the ceiling for boxers to train their punches. Just that it is actually standing up instead.

Too bad I did not take a picture of it else I will have less trouble in describing it as a picture speaks a thousand words.

Well, try to look around for these cute toys for your cat then.

Cats meow. But do you know what does it mean? Cat chat is the unique system whereby cats behave when they want to communicate something to you. Else you will not even understand what it wants.

Cat chat is especially suitable for owners who have been around cats for quite some time. Therefore, they are more likely to know what their cats want for just their meowing and their actions.

Particularly, Siamese cats have human-like voices that absolutely resemble you having a conversation with your cat when it starts to meow. Thus, it is not surprising to hear a human greeting in the middle of the night.

However, cat chat does not only include the meows but also the purring part of cats which cats do often. Actually, this is their favorite form of communication. Once they purr, they are actually telling you that they are satisfied and contented or just want to socialize with you. But it has another meaning too. It can mean that they are nervous, jumpy or in great pain.

When your cat trusts you enough, your cat will honor you by submitting fully to you. This can be seen when your cat rolls on its back. However, do not mistake it that it wants you to rub its stomach.

The tail of the cat is also part of cat chat. It will tell a lot involving feelings. Puffed up tails show fear in your cat and a tail that is held high is just showing that your cat is feeling good and relaxed.

When your cat head butts you, it is just showing you that it really loves you and not showing any kind of aggression. You can also do it back to your cat but be very careful as it is definitely more fragile that you. You will find that your cat actually enjoys this and soon form a solid bond with you.

So in a sense, cat chat is being able to decipher the kind of needs that your cat wants just by observing its behavior. With time and a solid bond, I am sure that a real cat chat will be possible.

You are going to get a new family member and it’s a new kitten. So you will need to have a checklist of everything that you need for caring that kitten. So just think of this checklist like a “cat owner manual”.

1. Cat food is the most obvious choice. It may sound simple and basic but sometimes we just find our in a situation where they are not enough cat food for our pets.

2. Cat litter box is the next most important choice that you have to make. You will need to scoop the poop every day and change the litter too. You will also need to wash the litter box once a week.

3. Cat toys are great things to have. But is it a little bit too early for your kittens now? However, most often than not, your kitten will start playing with something else rather than the toy that you bought. This is because your cat is absolutely thrilled at anything he can get its hands on whenever he is in the playful mood.

4. Reliable vet is another important decision you will have to make. A good and reliable vet will definitely make sure that your cat receives the best medical care possible. You can try asking your friends with pets or just call the local animal shelters for any good recommendations on a reliable vet.

5. A brush for grooming your cat is vital. You two can build better bonds when you groom him. A brush also helps to control his shedding so that he will have less fur to groom himself. This is definitely a good thing for your cat because with less fur, this will reduce the risks of hairballs going into his digestive systems.

Cats meow but what meaning does it hold? You will not understand it unless you know cat chat.

Cat chat is just a term to say that you have been around cats for quite a while and knows what they roughly want just from their meowing.

Cat care includes health issues of your pet. You may be surprised to find that health problems with cats are a common sight. This does not only stick to one breed of cats but all breeds. Some of these may be hereditary whereas others can be easily prevented.

Worms

Worms are a very widespread and persistent problem to all types of cat. Roundworms, tapeworms and hookworms are the most common to infect cats. You can look for symptoms of worm infection if your cat has problems gaining weight, having a flea problem or having white specks in the stools. Immediately take it to a vet for worms test. Although worms are treatable in the cat care category, but if left alone and untreated it can prove fatal.

Hairballs

Hairballs, being the least problematic in the cat care category, are the most common health issues for cats. All cats when grooming themselves daily will tend to swallow the loose hairs. From time to time, all the loose hair will gather and become a hairball which will lodge it in the digestive tract rather than passing out in the stool. Whenever your cat starts to cough, it is just trying to cough out the hairball. Well, eventually the hairball will be dislodged by the cat but the process can be rather disgusting.

In some rare instances, a hairball may get lodged in the intestinal tracts creating a blockage. This kind of blockage will be life threatening if they are not treated. Have a vet check your cat if symptoms such as constipation, dull coat, and having poor appetite show up. To prevent hairballs blockages, you can brush your cat 2 – 3 times a week to remove loose hair. You can also feed your cat with food that is designed to control hairballs.

Urinary tract infection

Urinary tract infection is more common with male cats that have not been sterilized. But the females do suffer from it too. Symptoms to look out for are: when the cat suddenly stops going to the litter box, or when the urine smells really strong. Take your cat to the vet immediately.

Feline leukemia

Previously, feline leukemia was the leading cause of death in cats. But today, you can get vaccines that can treat the disease. As part of the cat care precautionary measures, just take your cat to the vet for a vaccine shot. Cats exposed to the disease may not die immediately but will have their life span shortened hugely. The virus is highly contagious so never allow other cats near the feline leukemia stricken cat.

Therefore, to ensure maximum cat care provided for your pet, you should always ensure that you take your cat to the vet for regular check ups. Make sure that your cat gets up-to-date vaccinations so that it can lead a healthy and productive life. Most of the health problem can be treated although some cannot. If your cat is outdoor bound, just make sure your pet visit the vet regularly, otherwise you can keep your cat indoors to protect it from a majority of health problems.

2. Instead try to give more positive encouragement in the form of treats or verbal approvals. This is because in many instances, you will only found out who is the criminal behind the “crime” after it has already been performed. So it is easier to find your cat doing something right and immediately rewarding him with treats on hand. Such examples can be when your cat use the scratching post or the litter box.

3. Always try to keep your cat busy by having lots of activities or toys in your house, especially when you are not around. One little trick is that you can buy a timer for your TV and set it to go off at different times of the day to switch on your TV. The noise from the TV will attract your cat and he will come exploring and staying for awhile to watch the TV. It would be best if the channel is tuned to some animal-friendly channel such as Animal Planet or Discovery Channel.

4. Keep a spray bottle of water handy in your house. You will soon learn the great value of it. Just by spraying a cat with the harmless water will be enough to catch your cat attention and cause it to stop his misbehavior immediately. So whenever your cat misbehaves, squirt him with the spray bottle. Soon, he will realize it and stop that kind of behavior.

These are just some of the many cat training tips that are widely available. As time goes by, you and your cat will eventually start to form a bond whereby you will have a special kind of language of your own with him. So in a way, you will be able to read each other’s body language in the future. One of the most important elements in cat care is cat food. It is the most important need of cats and has to be provided by the owner. Plus, the kind of food you feed them will also reflect the nutritional contents of their food intake.

In order for your cats to be as sick-free as possible and grow well, we have to care for them by feeding them with the most nutritious food available. There are always guidelines where you can follow to give them a balanced diet and always refill their drinking water.

But what about those other reminders that remind us to not do this and that when feeding our cats?

Well, the don’ts of cat food feeding are also part of cat care. Avoid giving cat food that includes by-products such as “meat and/or bone meal”, “animal digest”, etc. Most of the other descriptions including the words “digest” or “meal” should be avoided as they are of no nutritional value to your cats.

Below are some more invaluable tips:

- Do not give food that includes corn meal as filler. - Avoid giving meals that conation like almost 50 percent of carbohydrates fillers. - Food with too much preservative is highly-discouraged.

Good cat care comes from good cat food. Always remember the basic nutritional needs of your cats. This includes protein from a poultry source or fish. Taurine, also an essential amino acid, certain other vitamins, minerals, enzymes and fatty acids and of course the most important of all, Water.

Cats do not really need so much carbohydrate as we do. But we just could not get away from the widely available canned cat food with carbohydrates fillers. Just ensure that the fillers do not tip over the 50 percent mark.

One great tip is to vary your cat menu from time to time. Don’t stick to one for too long else your cat will get bored and its appetite will plunge.

I hope that these cat care tips will help you better select the type of more nutritional cat food for your pets. But I highly suggest that you learn more so that you can be make better choices for your pets.
